Learning to read the credits
Kiii told HIPHOPCs that he read album credits like textbooks as a child. His father was a producer, and Kiii said he was interested in how records were made before he understood the word “production.” He associated another lesson, the importance of owning something of his own, with his mother.[1]

THE VIEW FROM HERE contains 14 tracks. In the interview, Kiii described an intensive period of making songs in July that he called “Blackout Week,” followed by work on guest contributions and tour planning. His account connects the concentrated writing period with the further work needed to bring collaborators and performances together.[1][6]
How WIRE TRANSFER crossed languages
Kiii said a Japanese DJ introduced him to SHEEF THE 3RD’s music and that he listened to the EP Piece is. EP. Although the language differed from his own, the delivery and flow made an impression. He sent a beat he had produced and recalled receiving SHEEF’s verse in less than a week.[1]
He explained “WIRE TRANSFER” through that exchange: a beat travelled to Japan and a verse came back. The track gives a concrete example of how a cross-border relationship became a recording. Japanese and English rap meet within the same recording.[1]
TSE4VR and building direct relationships
In the interview, Kiii described TSE4VR as his own creative and touring operation.
