Learning to make beats

In the interview published in July 2026, Oddy lozy recalled becoming interested in making music at around 19 and pursuing it more seriously at around 21. After moving, he connected with YamieZimmer through Twitter and learned how to make beats from him. These are his recollections; this profile does not calculate an unverified birthday or calendar-year chronology from those ages. Original interview in Japanese

He also remembered conversations about old-school hip-hop at Shizuoka’s CLUB EIGHT and being motivated by the same-generation crew GREEN KIDS. Listening communities and a personal introduction to production appear as separate steps in his account.

Working with Yvng Patra, in tracks and onstage

Oddy lozy says Yvng Patra first approached him through a DM asking for production. Their relationship continued through backing-DJ work, advice and feedback. He recalls a long argument over whether to leave space in a track or fill it with more sound—an example of the pride both brought to making music. Read the interview.

Official joint releases include Magna Scale, “Tier 1” and Batlogue. Track-level credits are the place to check particular roles; a joint artist billing does not establish every production responsibility.

Who Episode.0 is for

The four-track Episode.0 was released on July 22, 2026. In the interview, Oddy lozy describes it as a message to his younger self and to young people who want to begin but have not yet taken that first step. Official release information · His explanation

On the opening song, “Window view feat. Yvng Patra,” the official credits name Oddy lozy as composer and producer, Yvng Patra as lyricist, rapper and co-producer, and Taxon as mixing engineer. The credits offer a way to follow what each person contributed, alongside the conversation about how they work together. Track credits

Keeping the maker visible

Oddy lozy also says he wants beatmakers to have a visible presence in media rather than work only behind closed doors. His aim is to preserve the value attached to who made a beat, including the name and context of its maker, in an era of AI. That is his creative ambition, not this profile’s forecast of the music market. His account of that ambition
