From kiLLa to solo and collaborative records
BLAISE’s official artist page identifies him with kiLLa. His 2024 releases included the full-length Jab Step and the EP soliloquio. In 2025, projects with $AINT STØNE and D-SETO offered two different settings for his rapping.[3][4][5][6]

Codein Dreaming: shared time in Shibuya
Codein Dreaming was released on May 15, 2025, as a 12-track album credited jointly to BLAISE and $AINT STØNE. It should be understood as their shared project: the official listing names both artists, with production handled by $AINT STØNE.[4]
BLAISE told HIPHOPCs that its emotions and incidents emerged from the time they routinely spent together. He described deliberately retaining some roughness in the sound, rather than polishing everything away, to convey Shibuya’s everyday atmosphere.[1]
The track list includes “東京人,” “NAMAKA” and “kiLLa way.” His account of the process adds context to those songs: the project records experiences shared by its makers, as well as their connection to the city.[1][4]
HUMAN JUNCTION: meeting D-SETO’s flow
The five-track EP HUMAN JUNCTION, credited to BLAISE and D-SETO, followed on June 16, 2025. KAY DIEGO produced the entire project. In the HIPHOPCs interview originally published in Japanese on July 4, 2025, the two rappers discussed their meeting and the record’s development.[2][5]
For BLAISE, the title evoked a Tokyo where people from overseas and other parts of Japan mix together. D-SETO connected it with human relationships and the movement of sound between Tokyo and the regions. Their different interpretations make the title itself an entry point into the collaboration.[2]
D-SETO praised BLAISE’s low voice, forceful placement of words and, particularly, the feel of his off-beat rapping. That description is a collaborator’s assessment, rather than an objective ranking. BLAISE, in turn, expressed respect for D-SETO’s continued evolution while holding to his own style.[2]
